1. General Provisions
1.1 These Terms of Sale ("Terms") govern the sale of products ("Products") by Palais Santo SASU ("we," "us," "our") to the customer ("you," "your").
1.2 By placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please refrain from placing an order.
1.3 We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Any changes will be effective upon posting on our website.
2. Order Process
2.1 Orders can be placed through our website palaissanto.com.
2.2 All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. We reserve the right to refuse any order.
2.3 You will receive an order confirmation via email. This confirmation does not constitute acceptance of your order.
3. Prices and Payment
3.1 Prices on our site are shown in the local currency based on your selected country or region. At checkout, prices may adjust depending on your final shipping destination and applicable duties or taxes.
3.2 Our store currently supports pricing in major currencies such as EUR, USD, GBP, and others. Local currency display is available in many regions; however, where not supported, prices will appear in EUR or USD.
3.3 Prices include applicable VAT in the European Union. In markets where we support Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) — currently including the United States, United Kingdom, Switzerland, Norway, and the United Arab Emirates — import duties and taxes are calculated and collected at checkout. For other destinations, local import duties or taxes may apply upon delivery and are the responsibility of the customer.
3.4 For customers in the United States, we do not currently collect state sales tax. It is your responsibility to report and remit use tax, if applicable, in your state of residence.
3.5 Payment is required at the time of order placement and must be made using one of the accepted payment methods displayed at checkout.
3.6 We reserve the right to update pricing at any time without notice. The price shown at checkout is the final amount due.
4. Delivery
4.1 Delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed. We will not be liable for any delays.
4.2 We will deliver the Products to the address specified in your order.
4.3 Risk of loss and title for the Products pass to you upon delivery.
4.4 Orders placed through third-party platforms such as Instagram Shopping, Facebook Shop, or any other social media shopping channel are subject to the same terms and conditions outlined on our website. Prices and availability on these platforms are synced with our main store and reflect the same terms, including taxes and shipping policies.
5. European Union 14-Day Cooling Off Period
5.1 For orders shipped within the EU, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days without giving any reason.
5.2 To exercise the right of cancellation, you must inform us of your decision by a clear statement via email or our contact form.
5.3 Products must be returned in their original condition, with all labels attached, within 14 days of cancellation. You will bear the cost of returning the Products.
5.4 We will refund you the price paid for the Products and, if applicable, the cost of our standard shipping option. Any additional shipping upgrades selected at checkout are non-refundable. Refunds will be issued within 14 days of receiving the returned Products.
5.5 Products must be returned in their original condition with tags attached. If the item has been used beyond normal handling necessary to inspect it, we reserve the right to deduct a portion of the refund to reflect any loss in value.
6. Warranty
6.1 Our Products are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 60 days from the date of purchase.
6.2 If a defect is discovered within the warranty period, please contact us with proof of purchase and details of the defect. We will repair or replace the defective Product at our discretion.
7. Liability
7.1 We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our Products.
7.2 Our liability is limited to the purchase price of the Product.

9. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
9.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of France.
9.2 Any disputes arising from these Terms or the sale of Products will be resolved through negotiation in good faith. If unresolved, disputes will be referred to the competent courts of France.
